Olda of Semine fight?

I have seen no one post about this, wtf is Olda of Semine made of? During the wedding you can fight the groom Olda of Semine, and this fight is busted. I have hit him over and over again and he just does not lose, he hits me once and its instant death. Am I doing something wrong here? I'm not bad at the combat I played KCD 1 and I am a few hours into 2 had no trouble before this man. Someone please help me cause I have been at this for hours.

Update:

I beat him, the fights were kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one hit and you die. But its doable if u just hit and run and avoid getting hit like its the plague. There is a post in the middle of the fighting area that you can use as well to keep the at bay.

I'm confused because this isn't the first time I've seen this mentioned (Also once on reddit) But this fight was genuinely not that difficult. There's no special trick or anything he's just a decent fighter but keep trying I'm sure you'll manage

Thanks I appreciate it. I've actually not seen it mentioned anywhere, but it weirded me out how he just insta kills me immediately.

I've tested it, and I think it is pretty difficult. You do around %4 of his health per hit, %7 for a head hit, and you don't get hits often. Also, you always get one hit. Always. Even if he hits you and it's only to half health, the fight ends. I don't know if it's scripted or a bug, but it's definitely difficult. And this is coming from someone who can 1v8 bandits on the normal.

BANE will make short work of his HP, just put it on your stabby stab and poke him with it.
I've done it without , but you know .. if you can't. <3 Bane, cheap to at any apothecary.

Dollmaker also works, unable to run , reduces their weapon skill lvl by 4 which is massive.
Makes them slower in attacks, etc.

You can poke a bleed, and just run around him till he dies of bleeding.

I might have found a cheat way to beat him after losing countless number of times. What I did is I positioned myself so that a support beam is always between us. When I was ready to attack I'd pop up slightly from behind it, use stabbing attack and pop back behind the pillar.

He didn't attack even once in that time.

I'm pretty sure it's bugged though, every next opponent was as hard as first. Pretty much one hit and I'm done. Looks like the fight could go on but quest for some reason becomes marked as complete and that's the end of it.

Edit: Looks like using poisons is not an option for me; seems they have taken them with my weapons. But I have won it anyway. ;)

I think it is bugged. I tested it a few times and i get a lot of wounds and bleeding damage, so i think somehow despite him having a wooden sword it feels like he is using a real one. That would explain the wounds and the massive damage.

I have no idea why olda was so cracked. Olda hitting me with a wooden sword hurt more than a mace to the face from a bandit.

This fight gives me Sandayu Oda from Cyberpunk 2077 vibes. The damage I deal seems legit with a wooden sword and the fight would be a couple minutes long at best, if it weren't for his ability to one-shot you.

I'll just assume this quest is bugged due every opponent being capable of one tapping Henry.

I also think it is bugged. I just can´t be intended that you have to hit him so many more times than he has to hit you in order to win.

It´s a freaking joke. You hit him multiple times all clean masterstrikes and he just hits you one or two times and instantly wins.
