Report a translation problem
Bows are optimal in a sense to shoot closer to the center where the reticle is, but crossbows are raised higher and the projectile actually arcs upward a bit.
Tweaking the projectile velocity and reducing arc at shorter ranges may fix this.
Since there is a stone throwing animation, I really wonder why there is no throwing weapons in this game still. Throwing knives, throwing axes, even firebombs can be a thing since they existed in medieval ages.
Or better yet, use of chemical weapons like throwing jars of pitch or tar at enemies which they could slip on it if they ran over it, or be covered in it, which made them flammable.
All of the crossbow's are terrible to aim with and take a year to reload you better off with the far easier to aim bow....
I agree completely. Once I tried a bow, I never went back to the crossbow.
and yeah crossbows suck, took 10 tries to get that achievement for killing someone at long range with a crossbow.
