This dude has plot armor yet he isn't involved in any quest?

He is! You're forced to defend him after a murder. You cna make sure the other two suspects, die, but you can't frame him or tell outright that he is the murderer. He then shows up at a meeting of Catholic priests, monks and a cardinal from the Rome. Of course he gives you the way to resolve the comflict so that both parties are happy. He says I know a little about Christianity and King sigismund send me as an envoy to resolve the Catholic dispute. He later saves your life, cause you're a n00b, even though not 10 minutes later you face the same "boss" and since it's not a cutscene, you beat him in under a minute. He is constantly in your face and you're forced in a few occasions to interract with him or you can't progress the main story.

They should make him able to be killed, but then let the cut scene later play out without him there and let the player face the consequences.

Which in this case is Eric killing you during cut scene, Musa not being there to save you and game over for something you did some 12 hours earlier in game.

People say they want choice to matter in rpgs. Let's put this to a test. I am all for the old Morrowind "fate being destroyed" ideal, but don't bother giving a message that we screwed up. Let the consequences for such an action fall where and when it should, even if its 100s of hours later.

I believe I found something similar that could be modded. In actor_anim_action.xml there is a list of stuff you can or cannot do (maybe) as it's a huge file compared to other xml. In the tags it mentions things like "stealth+walk+forward+player+holdingDecoy" and "run+r_rifle+charge+player+prime" So basically these are animations for all actors, and that includes the player.

So when you cannot swing your weapon at other essential NPCs, it's the animation xml somewhere that is preventing it.

Dragon's Dogma 1 did it in a interesting way. You can kill essential NPCs, but you screw your save game in a way with a text saying that 'fate' has changed or whatnot.

Unfortunately in the 2nd game this system doesn't exist anymore. They don't like the idea that a player can 'kill' essential NPCs even for a joke.

Yeah same with Morrowind (sorry said Oblivion before which is when that got dropped with Elder Scrolls). I am all for returning to those days of hard core consequence, but say to take it a step further and drop the message or any indicator you screwed up. Let that be a surprise for later that falls when and where it would be logical.
We should have the option to kill Musu, and we should have options how to kill Musu.
I wonder if you can kill Musa via the story / decisions during the trial and also how the Erik meeting goes bit later.
He can't be killed because according to the game's plot he saves you.

You can raid the camp and kill almost anyone you see however this is one of the named character you cannot kill.
So you can literally raid the camp and kill all the white people but musa gets left alone? If that's not a clear sign of an agenda idk what is. Actual insane that Warhorse would stoop this low.

You cannot kill any essential NPC's that are needed for quests. Only a complete moron and/or racist (probably both) would get such an idea you cannot kill him solely because he is black..., seriously, when did ppl get THAT daft ?

Why are random romani NPCs who aren't even named and don't have any quests or dialogs essential characters then?

Dude just flip the races and the problem will become clear even to you. Imagine you had a game set in middle of Africa and you had one white NPC forced into main quest to humiliate you and your whole society as a backwards barbarians who don't value education, but he's grown fond of you and especially your women. That would CLEARLY be racist. That NPC would of course be immortal and in main questline cutscenes to rub it in..

thank you for your insightful contribution, comrade Redditor. As a fellow Marxist-Leninist and strong ally of the black and LGBT+ community on Reddit it is always hearthwarming watching a comrade shilling for investment companies, like the Embracer Group, engaging in social engineering. Is it possible?
Maybe—if you can somehow frame the blame on him during The Lion's Den quest. Here’s how the quest plays out:
The Lion's Den Quest Overview (Possible Spoilers):

Chertan's Attack:
Chertan, the Cuman commander, gets stabbed. You’re tasked with finding the attacker.
At the crime scene, you find:
Blood on the ground.
A cannon and spilled gunpowder near it.
A bloodied tub by Chertan's tent.
You can also find a Lord Borumlaca’s Bond letter in Chertan’s chest, revealing Grozav owed Chertan money—a possible motive.

Musa Becomes a Suspect:
After Chertan dies, Grozav tries to pin the blame on Musa.
You can either defend Musa or cast suspicion, but the game forces you to investigate further.
Musa himself finds out the real cause of death was poisoning, not the stab wounds.

Investigating the Poison:
After examining Chertan’s corpse and reading the Book of Poisons near his body, you discover the poison used was Kiss of Death.
You then search the tents of all suspects, including Musa, Grozav, and Stephen Crow.
Stephen’s tent has all the ingredients for the poison, making him the prime suspect.

The Trial:
At the trial, you can accuse either Grozav or Stephen Crow.
Accusing Grozav gets him killed and unlocks the "Hydra’s Head" trophy for eliminating all three commanders.
Musa always walks free, regardless of what you do.

💡 So, is there a way to frame Musa instead?
The game seems hardwired to exonerate him, no matter what evidence you present. But has anyone tried manipulating the evidence or dialogue choices to pin the blame on Musa and get him executed?

If anyone has managed to flip the outcome, share your method!
I read somewhere that framing him for the murder instant loses the game.. So I didn't bother.
I thought to myself that, whatever. Hopefully this is all they forced into the game of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying character like that.... BUT NOooo! HE RETURNS OF COURSE..... ♥♥♥♥ meeee
