Console command, disable his essential, then make a video and showcase it to everyone.

nah, ♥♥♥♥ that. I know how the "kill all npcs" mod was made in kcd, if push comes to shove ill make the "kill all npcs kcd2 edition" or ill make a mod that changes his dialogue to an ai white guy and replaces his skin texture white.
Dude youre a racist so its amazing you are even capable of reading let alone being able to code/script anything
It really isn't hard to mod KCD2, the asset files are all inside the pak files you can unpack, so it's simply replacing the texture file with another file lol.

Modifying existing stuff via values is not hard, it's ADDING new content to the game that is hard, because you would need to 'modify' the level asset which is massive and requires a cryengine editor that is MODIFIED to let you do all the stuff Warhorse does with it.

I remember looking up the modding tools for KCD1, it's very very very annoying to setup.

Can't have Token be mortal. Same way "Nomads" have a bunch of essential NPCs for no reason.

A mod that makes every NPC mortal, and a screen fade that says 'time paradox, revert to your last save' if you murder or happen to let them die and the game soft locks.

Don’t worry it’ll be a mod at some point. It was in kcd1

I like how the "it's not woke!" people have fully forgone that ♥♥♥♥ to instead celebrate "The game's woke and good and you can't even kill the token characters so HAAAW HAW!", lmfao.

You can raid the camp and kill almost anyone you see however this is one of the named character you cannot kill.
So you can literally raid the camp and kill all the white people but musa gets left alone? If that's not a clear sign of an agenda idk what is. Actual insane that Warhorse would stoop this low.

Or he will save you later in the game....oh oops. SPOILER. Don't give a ♥♥♥♥ for dumb idiots like you rioting about a character in a game. Anti woke is just as annoying as the general woke club...bunch of i**** r******

This dude has plot armor yet he isn't involved in any quest?

He is! You're forced to defend him after a murder. You cna make sure the other two suspects, die, but you can't frame him or tell outright that he is the murderer. He then shows up at a meeting of Catholic priests, monks and a cardinal from the Rome. Of course he gives you the way to resolve the comflict so that both parties are happy. He says I know a little about Christianity and King sigismund send me as an envoy to resolve the Catholic dispute. He later saves your life, cause you're a n00b, even though not 10 minutes later you face the same "boss" and since it's not a cutscene, you beat him in under a minute. He is constantly in your face and you're forced in a few occasions to interract with him or you can't progress the main story.

You can't kill Musa nor you can't kill Samuel.

Everyone complaining here is a clown... play through the game before you complain. He has a role later in the story that would ruin it if not there. Check yourself.

NPC marked as essential cannot literally die by the player, but they still follow specific rules like eating and sleeping so damage from indirect methods can still knock him unconscious.

You can use console commands to remove the essential nature or use mods.

"Soul.xml file in Tables archive file."
Googling how you remove essential on NPCs basically, it can break your game.

Thanks for that info. I’ll try editing it later. I believe the value controlling immortality in souls.xml is called “soul_vip_class_id”. Should be simple enough to change all “soul_vip_class_id” to a value of 0. There should only be a handful to change anyway, KCD doesn’t have that many unkillable people. I’ve mostly finished the game, I’m going to test tonight, if it works then I’ll go on a murder spree around the map.

There ya go. List this post as an answer.

Now you can try to murder Sigismund!

Oh wait there's more:

Yes but some NPC has not only immortality. They has protection from hero attaks. So Henry simply cant attak this npc. Like Richtarge. On nexus is a mod for killable npc.

So you need another value change to enable henry to attack them.

Googling this shows nothing though, which means someone has yet to find a solution, but I'm pretty sure what determines you can or cannot attack on a target is a interface with the 'hero' or your player character somewhere. Basically it should be a list of 'NPCs' you cannot left click to attack on, and this also negates your damage if you try to attack without lock-on too.

So if you fix this you also re-enable the 'polearm' cheesing like in KCD1 where you don't lock onto NPC and swing it indirectly.
