The Input Delay
This game has brutal input delay. And I'm talking like pressing the key and waiting a full second for a response from Henry.

so yes. I will be save scumming virtually every combat/quest. Which makes things certainly annoying and near unplayable.

It seems turning off motion blur fixes the lag.
Still going to save scum some of the more RNG related speech checks.
I am not sure if there is frame generation in the game but this causes input lag as well. Had this in Stalker 2 and had to disable it. The speech checks are annoying in the beginning. If you can get some cool clothes to raise your charisma, they will become more easier.

Oh man, I was annoyed as heck failing every speech check in the beginning. Gold Edition Gallant Hunter outfit + Warhorse Twitch Drop Armor has seemingly solved it - or at least raised my charisma enough now that I can pass some speech checks.

I wasn't mad from an RPG aspect though as hey... I looked worse than the beggar in town,
Failing checks build character (literally), embrace it
I was having the same issue with the delay & i think i know why, if you are using a weapon you don't have the requirements for , say strength or Dexterity , i believe is slows your swings ,lowers damage & costs more stamina.

True. Had a bow that I was using previous, but then I was debuffed and could not draw and hold it.

I understand that.
Try a stealth take-down with motion blur on.
Or Carrying the unconscious body.
The delay there is almost intentional to make you fail if you're caught.

With combat you can and will fail at the start. It's game design.
Hence why I save scummed until the take-downs succeeded.

Edit:
Its just strange to me how some parts of the game are exceptionally done and run perfectly. Like the Blacksmith, Dice and Alchemy Bench mini-games.

But stealth and RNG speech checks are based on luck and chance.
