Still going to save scum some of the more RNG related speech checks.
Oh man, I was annoyed as heck failing every speech check in the beginning. Gold Edition Gallant Hunter outfit + Warhorse Twitch Drop Armor has seemingly solved it - or at least raised my charisma enough now that I can pass some speech checks.
I wasn't mad from an RPG aspect though as hey... I looked worse than the beggar in town,
I understand that.
Try a stealth take-down with motion blur on.
Or Carrying the unconscious body.
The delay there is almost intentional to make you fail if you're caught.
With combat you can and will fail at the start. It's game design.
Hence why I save scummed until the take-downs succeeded.
Edit:
Its just strange to me how some parts of the game are exceptionally done and run perfectly. Like the Blacksmith, Dice and Alchemy Bench mini-games.
But stealth and RNG speech checks are based on luck and chance.
