Does anyone have their performance degrade over time?
I noticed that in the same location I was having 70+ fps I now had 50+. So I've saved the game and restarted it, loaded the save. And it's back to 70+. This happened a few times already, did anyone else have this issue?

I found this, but I don't if it's work :

The issue was that nvidia shaders cache was kind of "bloated".

What helped me, step by step:

Open Nvidia Control Panel -> Shader Cache Size -> Disable

Restart your PC

Navigate "C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\GLCache" and delete everything inside the folder

Navigate "C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\DXCache" and delete everything inside the folder

Navigate "C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache" and delete everything inside the folder

Open "Disk Cleanup" tool (windows built-in) -> check "DirectX texture builder cache" -> Ok -> Delete

Open Nvidia Control Panel -> Shader Cache Size -> Set to -> Default / 10 GB / 100 GB (select 100 GB only if you have more than 0.5 TB free space on the system drive)

Restart your PC

Start KCD2, let the game compile new shaders for a while (don't ALT + TAB)

Profit

Video that I used (it's in Russian, so, I made the step by step guide above^): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ7qu8Zvei0&list=LL&index=2

I had the same issue, yeah. After 10 or so minutes in game, I go from 50 fps to 40-30fps, reloading the game fixes it. Strange, never had this happen in any other game.
It is a memory issue.
Just now managed to fix the issue by lowering texture and shadow detail and also using this thing

Now the game runs smooth for me.
What are your specs and which settings did you put for textures and shadows?

Regarding the link, that is for RAM. I don't think this issue has anything to do with RAM to be honest. Might be VRAM instead.

upgrading the driver to 572.24 might be worth a try

I don't see that one, the latest driver for me is 572.16
Having this issue too and here is something I've noticed that seems to be my issue for my NVIDIA 4050 but I'm not sure how to fix, I get the best performance when the game is optimized through NVIDIA app. But after 5-10 minutes of gameplay, it automatically reverts back to defaults which causes the decrease in performance.

this sort of makes the time for the performance to leak slower but doesn't prevent it unfortunately
I can confirm driver 572.24 doesn't help, leak still occurs, performance is even worse

I just defaulted to running it with vsynch now, so far no significant drops but it's locked at 30 fps and I'm scaling them up with frame gen

I changed Nvidia to Studio mode and it works better. I will switch back to game mode when there is an update available.
I have 0% chance of getting memory leaks as i use the "save and quit" option at least once every 30 minutes as its the only way to save the game without grinding potions (which is as fun and flaying my balls with a cheese grater)

Devs in the future should learn that you dont needto fix memory leaks just make a s hitty save system where if you want to save in the middle of playing you have to close the game and reload.... bingo, no more memory leaks from playing for hours :steamfacepalm:

Never mind, eventually it degraded anyway, just took more time to happen
did you use wireless controller ? because right now wireless controller will give stuttering
