Bucks Blood
Has anyone one been able to brew a perfect bucks blood? I keep getting the message "That confrey was on too high a flame" but confrey is the second step, the next step requires the bellows

I was able to make the Henry's version of bucks blood a Reddit poster came up with how to do it ill repeat the method here

grind St johns wart put in cauldron, Put comfrey In cauldron, now lower the pot and count 9 seconds during the counting grab the dandelion throw it in at 9 seconds then use the bellows 8 times, Raise pot right away and pour.

yeah this seems to work now. strange. i swear i was doin the same, but maybe my alchemy lvl is like 22, so maybe the minor mistake thing takes over. but able to make max bucks blood now..

Im at alchemy level 30 with both secrets of equilbrium and you can make it by throwing in all 3 ingrediants, putting the pot down, pulling the bellows once, and then instantly putting it in a phial without removing the pot from the flame. Ingrediants must be fresh, not dried. You can substitute a dry ingrediant if you grint the st johns wort instead of just throwing it in. If you brew at night with dark arts apprentice you can probably subsititute an additional fresh for dry.
I've definitely made tier 4 bucks blood i didn't even realize it was causing people trouble. Just to confirm you're boiling the comfrey for 1 turn then raising the pot before moving on right? I always raise the pot after each boil step in my recipes because the coder in me is paranoid lol

Lmao I can’t believe this worked thank you! It was literally the only potion I could NOT figure out how to tier 4
I've always gotten Henry quality. I kind of just ignore the bellows except for giving it a single pump

Yeah I almost never use the sandglass anymore for any recipe. I'll just count it out to 9,18, or 27 seconds in my head while i do the grinding or other steps to speed up the process

I think I might have only made it once is that the one where you have to use the bellows for Nettle?

Just use the bellows one time.

If I'm not thinking of the right one don't use bellows at all unless it tells you to

I had trouble understanding the recipe the first time around, but I after following this guide I finally understood

https://youtu.be/hzF4L-7-qrQ?feature=shared

I was able to craft a 6 Henry's Bucks Blood after that, which is the highest quality + yield possible.

Basically, when the recipe tells you to boil using the bellows, you have to pull the bellows for the entire cycle (however many turns the recipe asks)
