Hans is 15 years old.
According to European and US laws, this game is technically illegal to sell and own. Because of 'that' scene.

This is the saddest attempt at smearing a game they desperately wanted to fail but didn't .

They are soooooo mad, just living rent free in their heads 24/7, you absolutely love to see it

you can feel how mad they are that the game is successful it drives them crazy their brains just fracture in two and they don't know what to do so they jsut come to the steam forums and spout random bs lmaooo

War, brutality, but also sexuality were common that way back then.

Dont forget those big facts, while complaining and judging in such a bad way. Its a historical simulation! Stay true to what it is and should be.

Still violates US and European law. it also violates Steams own TOS. So justify pedophilia all you want.

Its still wrong and still illegal regardless of how passionate you defend it.

I never justified pedophylia, whats wrong with you?

IMO because they're often not challenged on this behaviour due to mass censorship and banning of said discussions.

Then they have ♥♥♥♥ up, Hans is not acting or treated like a 15 year old of that period.

Who is he squire to if he is not already knighted? And if he is knighted he is not 15, end of story.

His parents are dead and in medieval age you could have been knight as noble easily. End of story.

Please tell me what his parents death have to do with him being knighted? lol You can be noble and not a knight.

Deflecting? lol, it's the exact same thing.

Game of Thrones is sitting on a pile of Emmys. No one cares about your crusade trying to push a political point.

She also had nude scenes
These ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are trying everything to paint game in a bad light, we have enough issues in the world without these morons.

the games head writer and dev disagrees with you

and so does the ingame codex on hans

I see his statement, but despite the codex I have a hard time believing it's practical that a 15 year old is able to wear full plate armor and swinging very heavy swords and shields around when their physical bodies haven't fully developed.

Actually adding smaller children to the game would have been interesting and might have made the game seem more alive, but I guess Warhorse felt it wasn't necessary.

But why wouldn't they just canonically age him up, for the sake of avoiding this entirely?
The premise of his character is that he's too young to rule and that's why he's saddled up with Henry to begin with (as punishment at first) and has a guardian, if you make him an adult you sort of create several plotholes.

As for avoiding "this" entirely? It isn't an issue because the characters are portrayed by grown adults (I doubt any legitimate pedophile would be turned on by Hans Capon), sex at a very young age was very "normal" back then as well so it doesn't get in the way of historical accuracy either, and I believe it doesn't even break current age consent laws anyway.

AFAIK Henry's age isn't mentioned anywhere, is it?
According to devs he's around the same age/slightly older than Hans, 15-16 at most, Henry gets referred to as a child in KCD1 as well at times.

The "he was a knight, so he couldn't have been a child" argument is weak. Here's why:
"Hans Capon, a character from the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance, was knighted at the age of 15. Despite his young age, he was already a nobleman and the heir to the market-town of Rattay."

tl;dr the rules of the commoner rarely applied to noblemen. This is a historical fact.

Ah...now its a simulation.

Other time its "just a game" when we ask for proper representation.

Twist it around how you please xD

I never said its "just a game", what are YOU talking about?
