No idea. Quest stressed me out, so after I killed the wolves, I slaughtered that dumb ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the tree. Don't even carew about the stupid "Quest". Dude caused me problems. We'll find out if I can still find Mutt after that, which is something I kinda wanted to test.

I did block then riptose, instead of hitting them back Henrey just doesn't respond to my mouse clicks.
Think the solution here is to go back leveling my sword skill, health 💪,equipment, then come back when I can handle the wolves.

Did the quest tonight and the wolves were a pain in the butt. And then after that the bandit camp was a pain in the butt but defeating that got me my first metal armor and bow as loot from the enemies.

You can probably finish the MUTT quest because he simply tells you who to check with next

That character is tied to at least one more quest that you pick up from other people at a tavern. Plus he gives more quests to find poacher camps.

Oh, and completing the whole quest gives you another bed to sleep in at his house.

Yea nice rewards but very hard to complete as a beginner.
Found Mutt anyway. I just went back to the pond and searched the area, which led me to a blood/carcass trail which led me to Mutt. No Gamekeeper needed, nor do I need a quest to for the poacher camps. They've been feeding my bloodlust without his help.
