Lackey bugged?

I found the guy, killed the wolves, no dialogue options, he falls out the tree, breaks his leg, and quest fails, no further options.

I looked up the quest online and hes suppose to apparently fall and break his leg so dont know why the quest fails.

It's the same thing. I wanted to capture the error by recording it with a screen recorder, there's a built-in screen capture function in NVIDIA, but it said that this function is not supported in KDC. Then, when I stopped it, I suddenly saw that the dialog button became active. I don't know, I was just switching between screens with Alt + Tab, who knows what happened, but in the end I was able to continue the quest, but there was such a bug.
P,S. Why can't I use a horse instead of dragging it myself? I could put it on the horse and lead it away. Is that supposed to work like that or not?

I also had this problem, I finally got it to work by not going anywhere near him and let him fall, then call me over to ask for help.

Anyone figure out how to avoid this bug? He falls, "dies", causing several quests to fail. He's still there moving around but is non-clickable.

i completed it with no issues whatsoever. NONE... I spoke with his wife.. spoke with the son.. Went to get a piece of brunswicks armor by the fishing couples hut ... walked over to the tree.. Killed the wolves.. he fell we spoke... carried him... killed the bandits.. rode home with him.

NO ISSUES.

Maybe u were too close. He once told me, that he cannot jump of the tree, if i'm too close. In your case he couldn't hold any longer
