cant get a room in the inn
when I ask the inn owner whether I could rent a room, she just says "no! away with you you vagabond!". is that because of bad reputation or why? i pretty much cant sleep anywhere which is really annoying

there are plenty of other inns where your reputation might be better.
you might also be to stinky for them to let you sleep there.

and there are plenty of places to sleep for free, not to mention in the main quest you get your own bed and a chest.
I couldn't sleep at the inn either. But on the east side of the village, there are 2 houses with a drying rack between the tailor and the butcher. The one in the south was clearly inhabited, but there was noone at home. I spent a peaceful night in the bed and ate the food in the kettle.

i am currently walking around looking for other places to sleep, hopefully i'll find one soon
It was your clothing as the reason why you were told to go away. Go to the tailor and buy/steal some nice clothing to raise your charisma and you'll be good to go. I stole a burgher coat and that alone was enough to have him let you rent a room. Don't forget to wash yourself ;)

Oh yeah that might have been it! I have pretty decent reputation now so should be fine anyways,
better clothing, ask again, but you may only be offered the hay to sleep in. you can do this for free anyway.
Go to the smith, he´ll teach you smithing and give you a room with a bed and chest for free.
I'm having the same problem with Tachov. I have great reputation but he still call me a vagabond. This must be a bug

Are you wearing Noble's Clothes? that might help. Also wearing dirty clothes has a big impact I think, but not sure, game is still new after all.

I'm wearing plated armor and chainmail. I'm surprised because it's in Tachov where I have 100% reputation. I went into a shop in another town where I have over 70% reputation and I was greeted by a shopkeeper who told me to leave however as soon as I started a discussion to trade they were as nice as anything. Is it because i have armor, weaponry and chainmail on me that they just assume I'm a vagabond?
Don't know why warhorse just didn't give us a bloody bedroll and be done with it.
