Controller or Mouse and Keyboard?

As the title says, I want to know if this game feels better with a controller or mouse and keyboard.

I can imagine meele fighting is better with controller, and shooting bow/crossbow is better with mouse and keyboard. Is this true?

What would you recommend between the two options?
