Can you own property?
Google was useless.

Like in KCD1, certain quests (usually as part of the main story) give you rooms or lodgings that the game considers yours. You can use the bed for free, and they all come with a storage chest. All taverns that have rentable rooms also always have a storage chest you can access in the rentable room, and you don't even have to pay to use the chest. Just look for the room that has the wreath above the door.

You mean like buildings or slaves? I don't think either.

Buildings and land.
You can have a girlfriend, yes.

I don't think so it is not a sandbox but a story driven game.
You already own the village of Prbslavytsa - but temporary (for 5 years) - which was common in Medieval times, and only if you have bought "From Ashes" DLC for the KCD1.

So you can go there to sleep and find your chest in kcd2?

Only after you romance Hans, after you bed him he will ask you to move in with him. You then get to customize the house and stuff like that
This response is even more useless than google. I did not think such a feat was possible.
Maybe mods can achieve this.

No, it's 100 kilometers away. Or 2 days of horse walking allure) That's why the original Sasau-Rataye map wasn't added to KCD2) And because Jindřich's (Henry) home is 100 km away - he wouldn't achieve any property in the Mlada-Boleslav or Kutna-Hora regions (Where KCD2 gameplay took place).

You could still rent a room if you want to sleep, just like in KCD1.

I bought a property in Kuttenburg and what they do for you is they give you the property.

I really hope its real.
It feels odd not to actually own a property in a sandbox RPG, no ?

I don't think so, If I remember correctly, devs were negative on questions about property in KCD2. So good sir by most chance have confused long rent and ownership.

Medieval prices were quite different from ours. In the real Middle ages, full-plate armour set could easily cost 100 pounds. And 100 pounds was the price of a big mansion. Here's a great meta-study on medieval prices:
https://www.luminarium.org/medlit/medprice.htm

So when your Henry is wearing an expensive armor set, he basically wears property)
