A GPU with support for D3D FeatureLevel 12.0 is required
My GPU are GTX 950M 4GB GDDR5

I Know it only have DX12 as a Software and not Hardware, but is there any solution to this?

GTX 950M only supports Feature Level 11.0 as it's pretty old. The only solution I know is a newer GPU.

950m use an older chip than desktop 900 series did.
Your 950 mobile gpu has more in common with a desktop 810/750 than it does a desktop 950.

Unfortunately it's new laptop time or build little budget pc to continue playing modern games.

sub 500 budget build, there is some room to save a few pounds but that is basically minimum spec for all new titles. has some upgrade potential too if you wanted to go bigger cpu and gpu.

You'd be surprised that i run Hogwarts Legacy and a lot of recent AAA game with this bad boy and it's actually playable, where the minimum is GTX 1070 and still runs alright.

Well there is a slight problem, i don't have said budget to upgrade anything right now, well if there is no way around then this is probably the end of my gaming era (at least for newer game).

well some games have a different solutions such as Vulkan or DXVK stuff thing, my laptop does actually support Vulkan, but i just didnt know how to use it in this game that wont even run in the first place.

DXVK mod maybe?

Find the dx dll files in the folder and add it in?

impressed it runs HL lol, what sort of quality settings? might be worth a look for a gpu card for the laptop on ebay, really, you could probably get away with as low as a 1070, ideally you'd need 8gb (ish) vram (that is providing your gpu card is replaceable in whatever model laptop you have)

oh yeah if only need to buy a GPU i would right now, but i cannot change my laptop GPU sadly, if i wanted to buy a PC then i need to buy a whole PC which i dont have the budget for.

yeah well i guess this is it, it is what it is i supposed.

im using a Mac M1 with parallels. With every game I get some sort of problem with steam games but eventually find a solution.

if anyone has any tips I could sure use one for parallels for Mac in particular
