Asked for a refund

This comment will probably be ignored by the developers and scrubbed. I am not going to insult or diminish anybody. But give the view of a majority of players.

I have waited YEARS for this game and I prepurchased it as soon as I new v2 was out. I am also a dad. I work 8 hours a day. On my free time I only ask to chill and disconnect for a while. I hate all propaganda. I hate feeling manipulated. I hate the whole woke discussions and meta discussions. I just want to enjoy a game like KCD that takes me back to mythical-historical places. I simply enjoy the art, enjoy the story. KCD was truly a masterpiece.

It is disappointing that the authors had to push the subtle DEI message agenda throughout the game. It is NOT just a one time choice and it spoils the experience cause you have to be watching out for it all the time. Characters don’t make sense. So I am not OK with this, period. It is clearly false advertisement and is being pushed for no other reason than DEI mandate, not the story, the history or the art.

And the authors KNEW this would happen and so now just pretend everyone who does not like it is a nazi. This is just too much pressure and distraction for me as a player, it spoils the immersion and the story and overall I think I am better off without it.

If your looking for something to scratch the itch that KCD2 won't now, I highly recommend Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon. It's in EA and the developers are independent, have a lot of heart, listen to their fans, and do their best to respect the lore they are working with. At least in my humble opinion.

After PF:WotR and then BG3, I have become *super* discretionary about what I play. I can't have my family piling through the room while some degenerate dialogue is on the screen. Playing games since ~2020 has turned less about fun and relaxation (and immersion), and more about being paranoid.

"Oh God I think some crap is coming up, gotta minimize or clear the room." Used to be simple stuff, like oh no... sudden digital boobies in Witcher. Now it's utterly sinister, like sudden gotcha-gay proposition, or EVERYONE is horny (BG3 ruined me).

It's made me very cynical and less inclined to buy new releases.

Once you start noticing, you notice that this is a direct attack on our culture, our minds, our psyche - us.
