Forge Hammer?

Anyone else having the glitch where you can't see the hammer when forging anything? It makes it very difficult to forge horse shoes.

I just forged the test. But done for now I think

I ended up re-loading prior to talking to the blacksmith - I think it happens if the blacksmith drops his hammer when you talk to him, and then you pick up the hammer.
