Is there a quick save option?
I looked in key bindings but didn't see it.

Anyone?
In the other game we needed a mod to quicksave with an item.
No, not really. You need to sleep or some special potion to save.
Not really, there wasn't one in the first game either, you can either use savior schnapps, sleep and save or save and quit.
Ok thanks. I played the first but forgot about that.

You can only save by sleeping, drinking saviour schnapps or exit saving (which is a temporary save).
You need to either A. Drink a savior schnapps, which can be obtained via buying, stealing or can just find in places or B. You can sleep and save like the first game but I haven’t found a spot like that yet :)

No quick save option, but I bet it'll be a mod in a day or two

or option C
add the file "user.cfg" to the root of the install folder with "wh_sys_NoSavePotion 1"
and enable dev mode in the properties of the launcher "-devmode +exec user.cfg"

to save anytime :)

No, they brought back the save system everyone hated from the first game
You can choose "save and exit" in the Menue an then the game saves at the spot! Thats a new thing and it works. So no need if you dont want to savescumm

You know that when you open that save file that it wil be deleted so you can not go back to that save on a ‘reloade or retry’

They ask for a quicksave probably to reloade the game quick if something goes wrong with the choices you make.

Save and exit is not new it was always there with a warning.

No, it doesn't. I just tried it with my latest exit save. Works the same as it did in KCD I, can reload from it as often as you like. The only real issue with it is it gets overwritten by your next Save&Exit. I don't find that to be a problem though.
