I'm Christian. Is this game blasphemous?
Is there any mocking of religion or insults towards Christians in this game? In the trailer they say the name of Jesus Christ many times. But the commandment says - Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. And I also don't know if it's right to say the Savior's name next to gay content.

Gods not real and fossil records prove it, now this thread is blasphemous better leave.

There's nothing wrong with discussing things they enjoy discussing.

I have not played much of this, but just the first 5 hours or so have been horrendous.

Contrary to what many others here have pointed out, homosexuality is not blasphemous (it is an abomination and horrible sin, but not blasphemous).

The language in this game, however, is childish, pathetic, and incredibly insulting to anyone who has even a passing understanding of Christianity. The Lord's name is used in vain constantly. I do not mean by a certain character or in certain cutscenes, but constantly.

Every character blasphemes God. Every character believes the F-bomb is necessary in all situations.

The developers have absolutely no idea what actual Christians were or are like; they clearly get their ideas from Roman Catholicism, which are as blasphemous, anti-Christian as they come.
I haven’t heard any blasphemy but there is a lot of profanity (F words) if you are sensitive to cursing. If you are Amish you shouldn’t be playing video games period.

There is couple type Amish, Old Order and New Order Amish don't use computer, but Beachy and Mennonites do use computer, but they mostly use for business but I wouldn't surprised they might play computer game, as it's done in "illegal" in their community but as far as I know, God/Elohim don't command "do not use technology" but it's was man-made religion law or policy "no use technology" or something like that in effect.

I know I saw amish do use computer in public libary, but I had no issues with it because God don't command those type law, it's was man-make up law or rule or policy as far as I concerned, I don't see that as sin as far as I know.

Consider that Jesus establishes a new covenant which overrides the old one. Therefore, the Old Testament commandments are abrogated by the New Testament (The Gospels).

As far as sexuality Jesus only ever directly condemns Paedophilia (with the punishment of death), and asks us to show mercy with respect to prostitution.

The Son of Man directly stipulates that lying and deception are acts against God that should not be tolerated. As for killing, The direct translation from Aramaic to English is "Thou shalt not murder".

The developer has already mocked Christians and Catholics on X, and has acted with deception regarding the content of the game.

If it concerns you, then follow what's right in your heart, and don't sacrifice your moral position for "omg teh graphics and gameplay".

This is fake news. The Messiah directly adressed this in one of his speeches (knowing in future people will try to claim laws are gone). He goes also saying that people who do not obey the laws and commandments of his Father (Yahweh) do not love Yahweh and cannot enter heaven in an unrighteous state.

Covenant was never a "set of rules". only a pact between the people and the Creator. Making a new covenant would not abolish any laws since they are completely separate of each other.

Which the hebrew Messiah also says that he did not come to abolish any laws of the Old Testament but to bind people BACK to them and obey them. So what we will see is likely many Christians going to hell because they believe the laws or commandments of Yahweh need not be kept.

Leviticus 19:19 - "nor shall you put on a garment made of two different materials". You don't get to cherry pick what you want from your "lord". You are wearing polyester and wool right now, I guarantee it. Have fun burning in eternal damnation.

I don't wear polyester because it makes me itch

Read your small black worthless book. But it is a better solution, learn about your religion, mostly take closer look on IV century in Rome, more precisely 347 to 350 A.D. Then you know real truth about Jesus as a son of a god. You should also read the oldest version of ten commandments, then you will feel the true horror behind this religion and it's dread and hatefull god.

The game consistently makes a mockery of how superficial and malleable religious beliefs are.
It's a game. It's gonna be as christian as you make your Henry to be. So give it a shot to see if you can keep being good Christian or you make yourself a hypocrite by abusing NPCs.

But not with Judaism or Islam, if you noticed.
