I've waited for this for ages and I was looking forward to getting stuck in and I have to either use the default controls. I am left handed and use the numeric keypad for my WASD. I have to try and play it with controller which makes aiming a pain in the arse. Such a rookie thing why can't I edit the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls Warhorse?

Same issue. Mouse left, keypad to control the character in the right. Here I thought non-bindable keypad was a thing of the the 1990s...

Apparently, the xml file where the user settings are stored can be edited by hand: In

%userdata%/Save Games/kingdomcome2/profiles/default/attributes.xml

look for

Attr name="keybinds_settings"

. The value attribute contains html-escaped xml code that can be edited. A first try in the game seemed to work, but i cannot guarantee that there won't be conflicts later in the game.

Has this XML editing trick held up between saves, etc? Working ok? I had to return the game due to this problem, but I really want to try to make something work.

i am lefty i always use my left hand for WSAD and right hand for mouse . what is issue here ????

I use my left hand for mouse and usually the numeric keypad as I had it set out a particular way for the first game. Now I'm using arrow keys. I cannot easily use WASD with my right hand as my PC is in the way as I have to move my keyboard to the far right of my desk. Now though I have to leave the controls to do some of the in game things that I cannot have on the numeric keypad or the keys above the arrow keys.

I had to learn to go from arrows to wasd, then to a mouse, then adapted to a controller. You can either fight the right hand biased society or just adapt and overcome. I can tell you which is the least rewarding.
