Stuck on loading screen
For me after the first cut-scene the game gets stuck on a loading screen, I've tried reinstalling it, restarting the PC but so far nothing really worked. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or not :steamfacepalm:

same for me :-(
Okay so I found a solution that worked for me, I reinstalled the game in the same SSD partition in which my Windows is installed and the game then just worked

I need some help bro I've reinstalled the game and deleted the folder in which it was on the SSD drive but when I start it up it thinks I'm on an HDD and then after the initial cutscene it has the infinite 100 percent loading screen, so how do I tell it its on the SSD cause I'm convinced that's causing all the issues
I believe some people have reported deleting the local save folder fixed this for them.

It works for me to load the oldest save every time i want to start a new playthrew - so perhaps it works to install a save file from Nexus that someone has made and go pick the oldest save there is (i have not tried if it works this way ) but i hope it might solve it

I have done all of the suggested fixes for this, no good for me. Just bought the game, don't have any saves, not real interested in installing random saves from others. I have a high end gaming system, all drivers are current, etc, all other games I own work fine.

Just commenting here to keep the issue current on the forum, don't expect anything useful until the developer figures something out and patches.

but installing someones files and loading the oldest there is - helped a few people, it just skips the first cutscene with Godwin and Sukdol but you will see it later anyways
I have found the solution: You must install your game on the internal SSD Drive, I first installed on an external SSD and was stuck on the loading screen, so I moved the game to the internal SSD and it works great.

I have something very strange to report.

This game had failed solidly since I purchased it a couple weeks ago.
Today while running it to collect the logs for support I did something
different than I had done previously, and the game started working.

After the game spins for a long time, like ten minutes, I have to CTRL
ALT DEL to get to the screen to start the task manager so I can
terminate the game, done it many times.

The different thing I did this time was with the task manager, instead
of terminating I selected Properties for the Kingdom process.
Immediately the game poped up and runs fine. I have restarted from
scratch many times, runs fine.

This hardly makes any sense to me except that pulling the properties
must have interrupted the running process or something like that and
shook something loose.
