I dont understand the popularity of the game

I have been watching the streams and this game is a borefest. Long cutscenes of people explaining rudimentary things, i thought Brits speak with a bit of cynicism but everyone is talking like a jolly good fellows. The only parts of the dialogue that tries to give a shimmer of intrigue is probably when they try to make the player anticipate some fun time with wenches. If the pron scenes is what people looking forward to and this game isnt actually a pron game, what is the point?

The battle is like a joke and armor doesnt matter, a tiny crossbow can destroy armored troops, if you ignore the music, the entire journey to the astral plane talking to his boring dead parents and trying to tear jerk the player with some cheap heartfelt disney symphony. The game is like a wet fantasy for people who read fairy tales and its a modern story book for a Knights Tale.

The MC is an uncharismatic bore fest and women flock to him for no apparent reason because he has Main Character plot armor energy.

They say the game is historical but it captures zero of the hard times people used to live in during that age, everyone has PERFECT TEETH.

I share many of your sentiments. I cannot understand the appeal of the game. Everything about it seems to be extremely tedious. Years ago this game would be called Janky af.

Try Dragon Age Vailguard or any other hack n slash game. This one actually has a story and real consequences which may be confusing for you.

It's basically the same reasons why Shenmue games are appealing, I've heard this game basically be called a Medieval Shenmue.

personally I don't understand how people can enjoy tekken.. you legit just smash your keyboard until the enemies hp reaches 0.
repeat over and over for 2000 hours.

Except the enemies are real people and not a really dumb AI.

There are lots of combos/moves to learn for each character in Tekken games otherwise you will just be smashing your keyboard.

mods are being cooked already, the first few appeared on nexus, it was solved last time as well no doubt there will be a solution for this once again.

a game for everyone is a game for no one, i find this, Fifa, turn based JRPGs, souls-like, and 4x strategy games to be uninteresting and boring, i basically dont play them...
