Ultrawide FOV
Just loaded up the game, playing at 5120 x 1440 and the FOV slider is only horizontal. Increasing to the max helps but is still pretty unplayable. Anyone have a console command to change vertical FOV or make horizontal go further?

Ty you my friend. This saved me from motion sickness like hell. Just use 110 fov slider in the options. Open the console ingame ( it was ^ for me) and cl_fov 110 and ♥♥♥♥ does look good on ultrawide

Is it not incredibly fished eyed for you at cl_fov 110? I had to use 90 otherwise it looked awful.
I've set my FOV to 110, and lowered the mouse sensitivity. It's not bad, but still feels a bit awkward. Any other settings being used for Ultra-wide?

80+ FPS on Ultra, 5120x1440

They promised ultrawide support in one of the streams about the game. What a BS, it is zoomed in and I cannot see anything. I am refunding the game if not fixed by tomorrow.

Ultrawide support is not that easy in all games buddy. The space marine 2 devs promised ultrawide support one patch, i jumped on and it did not work at all, I went from playing space marine 2 to dwarf marine 2 instead.

Give them time to fix it, and seems to be some other fixes for it, and they will probably solve it in a more user friendly way tbh. Refunding it sounds kinda stupid, UNLESS u actually dont enjoy it. Ofc in the end its up to you, but i wouldnt.
Yeah they went with the incredibly lazy option of using Vert- for Ultrawide.

This is entirely unplayable at 32:9. Anyone know if there is an engine config or console command override that we can use?
I'm having Space Marine II flashbacks all over again.

Hopefully they correct their hideous implementation of 32:9

I've submitted a ticket to their support team.

Setting your Horizontal FoV in the settings to 100 then cl_fov 90 actually makes it playable.

Problem is it is not even possible to switch it to 16:9 resolution. If I do, it doesn't add pillarboxes, like in other games, and it will instead stretch 16:9 picture to 21:9. Why?
This just provides huge fish bowl effect
