Ps5 controller doesnt work?

Steam says this is controller compatible but when I plug in my Ps5 controller it doesnt do anything

I find Steam with PS5 controllers to be inconsistent. Sometimes, I have to turn on Steam Input and the game uses all the DS features (USB of course), but sometimes, I have to turn off Steam Input to use a DS or the game will limit itself to Xbox features on the DS.

Keep messing with the Steam and in-game settings. Something's going to work.

Yep with steam input it wasn't detected in the game...

I fiddled with the steam settings and made sure steam input was enabled in the games settings but still nothing

Same problem. I use the PS5 controller through Steam Link. Tried turning on and off Steam Input. KCD2 doesn’t detect my controller. Can’t play the game at all with my setup.

Same issue, tried in big picture mode and everything. Works fine in the first game.

It is working for me. Must be some kind of global setting? Check your steam input settings. Maybe they should be off and just use whatever is built into the game. Or vice versa. But my guess is the issue should be in your Steam settings.

yea restarting ssteam fixed it just came back to say, no inputs works just gotta restart.

I disabled all the settings for controller and now it is working, thanks!
I have enabled only Game Rumble and Guide button focuses on Steam
