You mean Heroes of Might and Magic 3? I do play it on my handheld sometimes.
Thanks, the 5090 is indeed a hell of an upgrade versus the 3090Ti, however in my opinion, there just isn't a game that has made it obsolete just yet so I'll keep enjoying. Definitely going to grab a 5090 when I build my next tower within the next 2 years though. Enjoy yours!
Stick to that trust me, the 1k and 2k series of cards is just miles better than what we pay for today, if the AAA garbage does not allow you to run it to try and force you on newer hardware to please their business partners, swap the game instead of your hardware, Indiana Jones is not a particularly good game as expected but that's one game you would not be able to run well at all.
Not because of your card but you might aswell rename AAA to lazy for the most accuracy these days.
I've moved from a 1080TI GTX to a RTX 4060TI 16gb, sure it's worth it in some games but ray tracing is only noteworthy in a handful of games such as Minecraft, very few games know how to utilize it properly.
My top three cards of all time: 8800GTX (if anyone knows what that is), 4090, 1080Ti (SLI)
Yeah 8800 was awesome in its day, I literally ran it for years until the solder started separating, they were really hot for its time. 1080ti of course and now I have the MSI PrismLiquid 4090.
5090 is overkill by a fair margin, even at 4k, for ALL games without path tracing ..
So you'll get like one or two games to play to where you're actually getting your money's worth. The 4090s still overkill and outside of Cyberpunk and Indiana Jones you could've spent half the money and gotten the same enjoyment
I prefer going 70-70Ti every other gen selling my old one...it always maxes out games and never gives me more frames than I need...spending money on frames over 90 is a waste
