Why is this game not playable yet?

I just pre-downloaded a couple days ago and woke up early to play but it didn't release? It was supposed to be today right?

Look at the store page. There is a timer.
It's like with any other of the zillion games on steam.

That seems kind of bogus considering the game's already been available for several days to the ones that got it early, might as well have some integrity and release it at midnight for everyone else. Oh well, at least it was $30 cheaper on steam. I can wait. Never pre-ordered a game on steam before so I didn't know there were timers.
