"prismray" for twitch drops
Why not just link to steam for twitch drops. I don't want to make an account with an unknown middleman company that probably sells my data.

There is no middle man. You link it with the dev/publisher. Makes no sense linking it to steam

"prism ray online services" does not look like dev or publisher.

Where do you see that? THe linking is usually to the dev or publisher directly.

EDIT: nevermind I found it. So it's the online platform used by the publisher PLAION. So it's not really a third party thing.

Yes they are using it, as do others, but it is not owned by them.
At least I see nothing on the page suggesting otherwise.

It seems to be a shared platform for all the companies under Embracer.
