Tell me how could You ruin perfect friendship bond by even giving an option to make it gay? It is shame. I can withstand some random gay dude. I can withstand black random black guy but for real? Romance with Hans? Shame on You.

Because most of the defenders didn't play the game or can't read so they don't know who Hans Capon was. He was crazy about females and was totally straight male character. This post is not about GAY in the game. It is about CONSISTENCY. If You can't understand that then stick to FPS games and leave RPG for people who love good plot.

You're missing the point.

The point that being gay was considered a sin during that period in time, so gay men were more likely to hide it and pretend to be straight so that they wouldn't be punished for it?

Heck even in the 1970's Elton John was straight, was married to a woman, got divorced in the 90s and came out as gay shortly after that, because it became more socially acceptable.

It's entirely possible that's what's happening in the game that leads to an optional romance that is totally avoidable if you don't want to pursue it.

They threw a tantrum when Trump suggested and demanded many of them pay their own Defense costs, or at least more, a fair share, without relying on U.S. and other nations to subsidize their defense so they could then have all the Social systems like "free healthcare," (NOT "free" at all, actually - NOTHING is "free" EVER, always a COST to SOMEONE ELSE) etc., while concurrently they could turn around and disrespect, insult, the U.S. for NOT having all of the "freebies" they have, WHILE they are able to, in most cases, HAVE those "freebies" BECAUSE they are subsidized elsewhere (Defense, Military, etc.) BY the funds from U.S. Tax Payers. The bond I had with Han's was solid. I always looked forward to going on adventures with him. Has my buddy and was the cause of many a laugh.
But now I feel like that bond has been broken and he is just another NPC to dance around. I can't understand the writer reasoning on this one at all.
