Romance with Hans? Seriously??

Tell me how could You ruin perfect friendship bond by even giving an option to make it gay? It is shame. I can withstand some random gay dude. I can withstand black random black guy but for real? Romance with Hans? Shame on You.

Because most of the defenders didn't play the game or can't read so they don't know who Hans Capon was. He was crazy about females and was totally straight male character. This post is not about GAY in the game. It is about CONSISTENCY. If You can't understand that then stick to FPS games and leave RPG for people who love good plot.

I haven't played the game yet, because I'm still waiting for that Hardcore mode.
But to my understanding this is all optional. You can romance him, Bromance him or be complete jerk to him. It's all optional.

But what do I know. As I said I haven't played the game past prologue yet, because Warhorse still hasn't released that bloody Hardcore mode yet.

But whatever, I don't think that the Hans scene is a dealbreaker for many, I personally just think it shouldn't have been Hans for continuity reasons, but most other men I would've been fine with.

Also I'm happy that the game sells well.

I don't know about that, but if true it shows that most people cared about continuity and not a gay relationship/option in general.

I strongly object to the pandering to the obnoxious minority of people out there and appeasing the DEI demands of Blackrock owned companies.

But I tried this game er, elsewhere and honestly it is clearly a something they put a lot of time and effort into and I thought they deserve my money. So I decided to buy it and actually... it is pretty good ngl

All romance is optional, you get a ton of encounters with unique characters (+ Ofc bathmaids) . Probably there is achievement for that. But you can simply go full virgin, or pick what you like. Ppl are so squishy these days its hilarious.


HC will come out in spring, i hope its march im also waiting for it. But i would REALLY recommend to consider to AT LEAST try out normal mode, in the first region at minimum, to get the hang of the mechanics because its a different planet from KCD1. Like I wanted to just go HC but im glad i gave it a shot and i will have the faintest idea of what to do when i go hardcore henry

You literally have 1 choice to open the route with hans, i dont think it gets mentioned later anywhere in the storyline. And noone is forced to do it. I dont see issue with continuity here.

Every player has his own opinion on this matter, I just wanted to make clear that there is at least a non-homophobic argument that the option with Hans shouldn't exist.

Everyone is of course allowed to think differently/disagree or even back the choice up with their own fanfiction (like we read before in this thread), it would just be nice if people stopped assuming the worst of anyone who dares to talk about the topic.

I totally understand and I do get it believe it or not. I absolutely loathe woke crap with a passion (you can read back through my previous posts to see that). However I love games and most are mediocre to just outright garbage.

I would rather tell them where to go but I am not going to deny myself an otherwise good game based on this. For the record though, if they had added pronouns... ah hell no, I draw the line at pronouns.
