Romance with Hans? Seriously??

Seriously warhrose? To be fair i bought the game but thinking about refund.
Tell me how could You ruin perfect friendship bond by even giving an option to make it gay? It is shame. I can withstand some random gay dude. I can withstand black random black guy but for real? Romance with Hans? Shame on You.

EDIT.
Because most of the defenders didn't play the game or can't read so they don't know who Hans Capon was. He was crazy about females and was totally straight male character. This post is not about GAY in the game. It is about CONSISTENCY. If You can't understand that then stick to FPS games and leave RPG for people who love good plot.

That was NOT the established lore of this game where it was previously made very clear the the protagonist was a straight white man in a Christian region that also did not have any 'minorities'. However to appease a loud and obnoxious minority (plus to get some tasty Blackrock cash) the devs blatantly lied about the content within and added a gay stuff to a game where it was completely inappropriate for the setting and it was completely unnecessary, along with violating its own lore.

Not everything has to have the ghey in it and we are all tired of this vile pandering to obnoxious Reddit minorities

A certain percentage of the human population may be born with any pathologies. There are a lot of things that can go wrong in our body. So there has always been a certain percentage of gays. It's not their choice, and it happens, but that doesn't mean it's normal and natural. It is normal and natural from an evolutionary point of view to reproduce and maintain a population. But you can't become gay at will. You're born with it, and you're either gay or you're not. And the fact that the game remakes heterosexual characters is very bad.

I guess I'll just pointlessly add my two cents. I agree with the people saying there's a consistency problem. It doesn't make much sense character wise, and maybe Henry could indeed be gay or bi. Maybe he didn't romance any girls in the first game if you didn't chose to, maybe he remained friends with Theresa.
But Hans is a ♥♥♥♥ boy. I'm not against giving players choice, but it's also about what makes sense for the NPC. I certainly don't have the choice to romance every married woman in the game, I don't know if there's any of that in this game (still haven't gotten that far) but there certainly was that in the first game. The point is that me has a player can't just romance any NPC I chose. I can romance a few that got written and programmed that way, and that I think make sense overall.
Hans.... In my opinion makes no sense, even if Henry was gay, I don't think he'd have a chance in hell to be have that care be recíprocated.
Am I refunding the game over it? Of course not! I'm loving the game and I just don't chose that option. Or maybe I will in a future play through because I often fall into the trap of trying to see every single thing that's been put into a game, dialog options, locations etc.
Right now I'm playing an Henry that makes sense to me, he doesn't steal he doesn't kill innocents, but usually spares no bandits even after they've surrendered because they'll just murder the next innocent person.
And by and large tries to do the right moral thing even when the choice is hard.

Lowkey IMO I think the dev's didn't do this to appease anyone but to just make it historically interesting I think its sweet that they added this since Hans and Henry have been together for so long that the experiences they've had are closer and more intimate than most friends or even wives would've had. While the gay option disturbed me a little at first I thought of it as not a LTR between the characters but more as a way to express that they're more than brothers and little less the lovers and this was one of the strongest ways to express that bond in game. Though take what I say with a grain of salt I got over this quickly because at the end of the day they're still bros and badass ones at that. Let the player base express how close they want them to be thus the option to choose.

At that time, it was the normal age for marriage, whether anyone liked it or not. At 18, a girl would be called an old maid. I wouldn't say anything about age. moreover, everyone here looks 20+ years old.

I have complaints about only two things. 1) Musa 2) remaking the characters from the first part.
