Sorry, but "Will I have gay sex" is not a moral delimma that a straight person faces. The fact that it exists as an option implies henry is already gay and considering acting on it.
So yes, you play Henry, a person who has gay thoughts, and much like Lucas in the first game he will decide if he wants to act out on them.
Unlike Lucas though, Henry doesn't consider this a major question and sees no need to seek refuge in a monastery to avoid this temptation. In fact, Henry is likely to act on this because Hans is also gay and will help him to this decision.
I agree though, if you play this game.... you are gay.
It looks very much like some kind of title. If you really want to know the reasons why people complain, here's a topic.

I read it, I have mixed feelings about your post:
On the one hand I'm clear about Henry's orientation, I played with him in the first game, straight nonogamy or death lol
Second place, I don't care about the character of Musa, I already know that he's an alien of hohemia obviously duh...
And regarding that it explains well how the hell he ended up so far from her homeland at that time...which is interesting.
However your points and arguments are valid and I agree with them for the most part.
It just makes me laugh how many people are unsure of their sexuality complaining about this hahaha
Again...YOU DECIDE!
1) Gays are born like that.
2) Gayness is a mental illness.
In the first case, Henry having an option to become gay means he is bi. In some other RPGs with not established character it could be argued they are what you make them. Here Henry is straight in the first game, both according to the experience in the first game and devs words. Which makes this a retcon that makes him bi.
In the second case, it's not a retcon, but it would mean that Henry has been so traumatized so badly in the second game, he became bi.
