Play at the pace you want, the game will not disappear if you start playing a little later, but it will only get better, as there may be bugs fixed if there are any. The first walkthrough took me over a hundred hours. But I was doing dope missions and exploring the world.

Do you think I can play in parallel? I mean, play now, if not completed, watch recap in yotube, start second one, and return to first one whenever I have time.
I am going to buy it anyway this week (second game)

Yes, you can, but better have a lot of coffee prepared.

I played the game until 5 AM and have slept only 4 hours. Its mission impossible I guess.

Easily. Just skip the side quests. Nothing of value in those anyway at this point.

What I've also done just on this replay is get a mod to give myself money and a few other things that would just cause frustration. Highly recommend if you just want a story.

Thank you. What do you need money for by the way? I mean, to progress the story

If you skip a lot of the side stuff you can finish it quickly, as it is my understanding a lot of the characters from the 1st won't matter since you are going to Prague and they stay behind in their respective cities (Rattay, Neuhof, Sasau etc....)

I see. Will they allow to transfer the save? I am not sure if I am going to buy for PC or for PS5 so I am not sure its matter.

There is no save transfer. They ask you some questions at the start of the second game to help establish some facts and build your character's stats.

There isn't a major issue with playing the games in parallel but there are some story events in the last section of the game which would be ideal to play through or watch, just to feel the story impact of them, even if they'll be recapped in the sequel. It would also help to familiarise yourself with one of the main antagonists for KCD2 since they show up at the end

Just to speed things up really. Some missions require you to provide meat etc. You can just buy that fast.
No worrying about repair costs or buying anything.
You can rush the entire game (without cheating/modding) in a matter of hours. You can complete the story no worries before the 2nd game, but the sidemisions is a diffrent matter entirely.

It all depends on you. You understand that the second part is a continuation of the first, which means there will be spoilers to the plot of the first part. I don't like spoilers, so it would be unacceptable for me, but if you take it more lightly, then you can play in parallel.

Currently I`m replaying the 1st game as well and doing the monastery questline (what a slog and hope nothing like this is in the 2nd part). KCD II isn`t going anywhere so I`ll finish KCD 1 besides which it`ll take me a few days to download the game anyway.
