Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Henry's fighting skill level in the game?
What I loved about the first game, was that the character was a complete nobody when it came to fighting and you had to keep fighting to get better at it and when you started getting good, it felt really good. But how will this be now in kcd2? If the story continues from the first one, will you start the game fresh and henry is already a seasoned veteran? I want to play someone who barely know what way to hold a sword, not someone who is a skilled swordsman

minor spoiler: I heard that at the beginning of KCD 2 henry suffers an accident and is basically set back to square 1, so it addresses the powerscaling of what henry would have been like at the end of the first game

You get reset, but not to 0. You have all the basics in fighting still (perfect block, riposte ect). I think you're set to around level 5 or 6 and they've bumped up the max level.
there is an event during the first few hours of the game that will soft reset henry, from what ive heard you wont be a completely empty slate. But theres plenty of things you will need to relearn except reading, that skill has now been replaced by scholarship because realistically once you know how to read it's not something you would need to relearn
It is obvious hat a soft reset would be needed in some sort of form, as Henry was fairly buffed up at the end of KCD1. Continuing a decent progression speed would have turned him into Geralt or Jin Sakai by the end of the game.
