It feels like the Sims here. Lemme explain:

In the Sims, it's like the point of the game is to collect as many kinds of ghosts as possible by killing Sims in all kinds of different ways. They put so much effort into it. Surely, they want people to do that.

Given the various punishments Henry can receive, I can't help but think they put more thought into this than other things (that we're all freaking out over). I think this is what they want players to explore more than that other stuff.

...and I'm here for it. (Would love a statistic on how many times players get Henry caned, branded, and hung.)

I love how your crimes have actual consequences and you can just straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die. Amazing.

As there will be seemingly no "magic" exchange of information from civs to guards, you have to be really bad at stealth to get caught for most crimes that happen indoors. I wonder if very serious crimes in a single village will result in a more permanent hostility to you.
