Different posters.
Looking over the forums, filled with complaints and cheers for the game, I think I have broken down the posters in categories. You can tell me how close I got this.

1) I love this game. It can do no wrong. It's perfect. I hope it wins game of the year!

2) It's not perfect, but the small things don't bother me. I'll buy the game.

3) It's not historically accurate, because of this I won't buy the game.

4) The black or gay agenda has gone too far. I won't buy the game.

5) There are things that everyone should hate about this game, so NOBODY should buy this game. Boycott!

6) I hope this company and the game burn to the ground. I hope everyone buying the game is shamed of themselves!

Now, 1 seems more like a fanboi, but hey we all get excited about a game. Thing is these people sometimes have a habit of attacking others who do not think the game is not the greatest thing on Earth.

2 and 3 seem fair minded and mature about the idea of the game. Even 4 can't be faulted for finding something about the game they don't like and so they will not buy it. We don't all have to agree if is reasonable, because we all choose why we will or will not buy a game.

5 is where I personally think it goes a bit far. The "I don't like the game therefore you shouldn't either" is not reasonable, IMHO. Stay in your own lane and choose for yourself, with all due respect.

Now 6 I find funny because this kind of talk usually brings more people's attention to the game and has a habit of backfiring. The more people that hear about the more the game does better in sales. Maybe I'm wrong. I guess we will see.

Either way, When you see a type of poster that does not agree with your view, please try to remember to treat them with as much respect as you can muster.

Have a nice day. :steamhappy:

I'm personally somewhere between 3 and 4, what ticks me off the most isn't the massive change in stance from the company and the game itself but the fact they tried so hard to hide it, then deny, then try to lie and say its all done in the name of creative reasons and not of ESG/DEI.

Yeah, you forgot the "it's not gay and black enough" crowd.

Can you link me one post here that says that?
