But here's the basics of the logic you think is non-existent:

1. Massive backlash to making the MC of the game homosexual
2. Backlash is broadcast all over the net = major bad publicity
3. Potential millions on the line
4. Make a video that's nearly 100% about the MC being straight to try and control the damage

It's so simple and in-your-face 1 + 1 as all hell.

But you're welcome to present your own 'logic' to contradict it. Because all you've done to date is insult (losing temper) and dictate what you think the situation is, rather than actually explaining why you believe as such - or why the above reasoning is incorrect.

As in, they had major backlash over including homosexual elements. Now they're on 'damage control' by releasing this video where it's in-your-face heterosexual for almost the whole thing - as though there's nothing else to the game other than this heterosexual romance.

Basic reasoning is void of the cognitive dissonance of evidence that woke doesn't breach only a few scenes in the game...and most certainly basic reasoning doesn't allow for such scenes that needed to be included for funding ruin enjoyment of an RPG of this scale.

1 - Wouldn't say massive, most people don't care and are buying the game and mostly oblivious to the drama.

2 - Not true as most people who previewed the game are extremely positive. Even notorious anti woke figures like Grummz and Worth a Buy

3 - Speculation since the previous woke drama of the first game didn't negatively impacted the game, this isn't either since it's already one of the top sellers.

4 - I want to see proof this trailer was made in a couple of days just for damage control as things take time and it wouldn't be enough to make a CGI just to respond to an issue that doesn't seem to be impacting the devs. If it was the case a gameplay video would have been much easier.

They undid my 1 week ban as quick as they delivered it, so I'll answer for myself now and the other guy can take a break.

We'll just have to see how things go, won't we?

EA confirmed Veilguard was a financial disaster only a few days ago. Didn't meet sales by 50%. And that's their own positive-as-possible spin on it. Art director was fired because it didn't meet sales.

It'll take a few more 'high profile' sales disasters before the DEI dies off. But just you watch - 2025 is gonna be rife with them.
