Becoming a lord in Kingdom Come: Deliverence II?
Greetings!
With all the furor about Henry being this or that.. I was wondering; can we (a.k.a ''Henry'') become a lord in this installment of the game? (And preferably not a Ghae Lord).
I know that it was a thing that some players (including yours truly, ofcourse) wondered about in the previous game, and some of us were thinking; ''Eh this is just the beginning of the story, we literally begin as a blacksmith ('s son?) in a medieval setting. So no, you ain't gonna be no King yet. But in the second game (if they ever make it), well, why not?''

I know that a proper kingdom management system (Fable III, Pathfinder Kingmaker, Sims Medieval etc.) with appointing representatives, developing your capital, garrisons, and towns, abusing your plebs, abusing religion, abusing your plebs in more inventive ways and drawning in cat juice in your royal chambers would probably be beyond the scope of this game.

But can we at least become a low-level local lord, with some very meager establishments like a manor (basically just a big house with a fence), a stable, a few houses for servants/locals and some very limited farming lands (and ofcourse NPC's walking around, going ''M'lord this and M'lord that''?
There don't have to be too much of a ''management'' of anything, just some locals kissing your royal as... your royal Kissinger and some NPC's acknowledging your position as an up-and-coming noble/lord and maybe even setting their sights on you before you even can make a name for yourself (seeing you as an emerging threat and so on). So you know, some very, very basic and very low-level courtly stuff to deal with as a minor lord?

My guess would be no, probably not. I feel that by making you into landed nobility, they'd really be pushing Henry's historical non-existence to the limit.

But this is only a guess, I have no idea. And the first game did have Pribyslavitz.

So if you recall, in KCD, the narrator who introduces the game is actually Henry, telling the story of they events surrounding KCD. Henry of course, sounds like an older man, which implies Henry survives the KCD franchise, or at least, it was intended that way originally.

In the intro for KCD2, from what I've seen, WH has opted for simple text, rather than having the voice-over return. So, it's possible WH had a major creative change concerning Henry's ultimate fate in KCD2, as according to WH, KCD2 is the "end" of Henry's story.

Radzig himself is considered a lower Noble, raised in status by his friendship with the King, Once the King is freed, and historically he is, if we go by history, Radzig becomes a Robber Baron for a bit, then gets reinstated and given lands - but was never again Royal Hetman.

So, for Henry, dependent on the player's decisions, maybe it's possible he is legitimized, and raised higher than his father, or at least, has a family of his own. I think it would be pretty cool if, in the end, Henry is telling the story to his children, in a rebuilt Skalitz castle.

Unfortunately, Skalitz castle was never rebuilt. The ruins were picked apart and the material used to build the church that is there today.

I'm also not sure if Skalitz would be inheritable? I have a feeling (which could be wrong) that it is owned directly by the king, and Radzig was basically just an appointed manager.

You're right, Skalitz was a Royal town, owned entirely by the King and administered by Radzig.

But fine, 'I think it would be pretty cool if, in the end, Henry is telling the story to his children, in a rebuilt...' Pribislavitz.

There, now we're slightly less ahistorically, ahistorical.
