As for the entire debacle, why didn't Vavra ignore the comments and showcase his game without going into a rant my dude? The things people are complaining about boil down to two interactions when he could showcase hundreds.

At this point he has brought so much attention that there is genuine concern that he went full Bioware which it is doubtful as he has not clip through the floor once during his stream.

I haven't played Veilguard, but I hear it's poorly written and simply not a good game. That Concord was a game that nobody asked for, doing absolutely nothing to justify its price tag. That Outlaws was just plain boring as a game.

But keep telling yourself they all failed because "go woke go broke", and not because they weren't good games.

Let's ignore BG3 which has body types, pronouns, gay romances for days, the whole woke package. Yet somehow was the most successful game of 2023 and brought Larian into the spotlight because it was actually a really good game.

Many companies start pandering to try and get demographics to attach themselves to games.

We're starting to see the reverse. There's literally a company with DEI content saying DEI is bad and ruins art.

Moral degeneracy has always been a choice in KCD. The game however has always promoted the Catholic outlook as the most moral. This is made evident in one of the DLC's in the first game

People being upset about a black character in an allegedly historically accurate setting in Europe in 1400 is not the same as people being upset about a black character in a different game, like, say... Fallout or Cyberpunk or what have you.
Just like people being upset about Yasuke in Assassins' Creed Shadows isn't the same as simply "hating blacks". It's about the context, not the race.

Well, Henry is an entirely player generated character. We make his face, his background, choose his sexuality and... wait... Henry is an established character and the role-playing we do in game is based on moral choices that aren't as tied to who he is as a set character...?
