maybe they optimized it on the 50series. I guess, the ai-fps should do the trick.

They released detailed pc specs needed months before the release. No one should act surprised or play the "not optimised" card. Information is available, act on it.

Probably another lie.
The game will run very poorly considering the RTX 4070 is required as recommended syst req.

That's the required card for 1440p on High. The spread sheet is a lot clearer, they did not list it as 1440p on the steam page.

You can find it posted in News, on Dec 5th.

This game is CPU heavy.
So that make sense.

Remember that your PC needs to be balanced. Many people make the mistake of having huge bottlenects, because they pair a high end GPU with medium to low grade CPU, MB, Ram, PSU, SSD, etc.

Another issue is people mass sliding right in graphics settings, instead of trying to mix and match to get the best result.

their latest streams on streamers and then saying it will run great. so if 60fps means it runs great. this game is first person, 60fps is not good. its like playing a shooter where like 90fps are needed to have a smooth picture. also i dont count upscaler as optimization.
i tried kcd1 couple of days ago and it definetly run better now.
kuttenberg with all the npcs will be the biggest struggle for cpus

It depends on who you are.
60-80 FPS is fine for me in this case, if its stable (I am sure it will be even with my old setup)

On console it will be 30 FPS and nobody will complain.

making the game run on steamdeck (or low hardware) is far more easier than make it run better on better hardware. there is so much things they can do, and the screenshots from the steamdeck are just a huge blob of blurriness.

First was CPU-intense, this one will be too, I bet your 4090 is not the bottle neck there...What are your other specs?

There are plenty of YT previews that show the game running perfectly.

You're grasping, or you have a bottleneck in you system. It's either the CPU or your SSD.

no one is allowed to show benchmarks. there is one guy who dont even know how to benchmark at shows 50 fps with a 2080. im talking here about a benchmark site thats probably against NDA.
They did optimize it really well, look at the min specs
Dagtag Jan 27 @ 5:30am
And where are the sources regarding this supposed performance?
GLOWSON Jan 27 @ 5:31am
This is why I haven't preordered it, my guess is that actual optimization and bug fixes will take a couple months post release.

30fps on my 4090, with high graphic setups and 1440p.
Optimisation is awfull
