My Honest Advice To Gamers.
First I want you to ask yourself a question: When was the last time you played a video game blind? Without watching any YouTube videos, learning any spoilers or arguing over it here?

I find this is why a lot of people don't enjoy video games and get sucked into this outrage.
I've seen so many threads on this platform. How people are angry over this and that etc.

How they won't be buying a game due to DRM or because it uses a third party launcher.
Like what world are we living on anymore? I've had to install dozens of launchers as a PC Gamer and never once have I even worried about if a video game has some type of DRM.

Just buy the video games you like, wait until they release and go into them completely blind.
The best gaming experience I ever had in my life was Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin.

I was gifted it by a friend, not having ever heard of, seen or read anything about it before.
I went in completely blind, finding myself having the most fun that I've ever had in gaming.

I've tried my best to avoid spoilers, but I ended up watching footage of Dark Souls 3.
Guess what. I regret it, as it took away the first time experience and made it less exciting.

How many people here would honestly even discover Henry can swing both ways if they wasn't told about it in forums or by YouTubers trying to make money on this outrage?

It is a RPG. Just roleplay as Henry being straight, that's what we love about RPG titles.
If you know everything about a video game, before playing it; before it is even released.

Then how can you expect to have fun playing it?

Everyone who remembers playing games blind in the old era where the most news you got of games was word of mouth or magazines should remember how many mediocre games there were. For every mario 64, there were thousands of unbalanced unfun games deliberately designed to be suffering to discourage renting.
Last time I played a video game blind was back when game developers and journalism wasn't infiltrated by agendas and game companies produced solid 10/10 polished works of art.

Anyone who buys a game blindly these days is willing to part with their money and they deserve to be disappointed.

Yep.
I can't play videogames blind now because there is a prevalent risk of devs sneaking gay ♥♥♥♥ in.
Quite often it can be past the point of refund.
Therefore I have to research this matter before every purchase.
I will keep doing so.
That said, I do get enough games made in Japan and China to occupy myself with without the risk of gay ♥♥♥♥ being shoved in my face.

I am invested in kcd series because I loved the first one and it was the only western title that didn't feature DEI.

Elden Ring has DEI and it didn't ruin the game for you. Being outraged is a choice.

I started watching videos and researching the games pre release, because I got burned too many times by woke garbage in franchises I used to love.

That's the neat part: it doesn't.
Player character is referred to as "he" or "she" according to the chosen sex.
Not a single poc.
Not a single gay sex scene.
Not even a single gay character - only mind control disguised as compassion.

How does any of those things ruin a video game for you? You let it bother you is all.
Apart of life is learning to live with people and thinks you don't agree with or like.

Pronouns are apart of all professional workplaces these days. If you don't use them it is discrimination against that person.

Idk about video games, but I've stopped watching TV series blind since watching The Last Of Us and a full episode was dedicated to an inconsequential gay relationship (complete with gay sex) where both characters introduced in that episode were killed by the writers at the end of it.

Last time I played games fully blind was when developers did not take ESG money from Black rock to insert political messaging into my video games. That's when.

I already answered this in your other thread:

You just ignored it, which is fine but it's very telling of your illogical stance.

Why is everyone here into these Blackrock Conspiracy Theories?

So you concede your earlier assertion of
"there is DEI in Elden Ring"
and instead move the goalposts to
"it doesnt matter if there is DEI or not, just turn off your brain and consoome!"
