The vast majority of people with avarage or above internet speeds, would download the game faster on release, than it takes to unpack and download on release after preload.

That being said, its good that some can preload, when they have low connection speeds and it also saves us from having too much load on the release day.

You know you can use your phone to start the download on your PC right? (that is an option)

Albeit the game will first be out during the evening in CET, so most would be home from work. But again.. I fully understand you and your situation. We will have to wait for details about preload before we can say more.

There is always the fun that even with a predownload steam then verifies the game when you first launch it and that sometimes takes users as much time as the actual download.
