Henry was into p****
Henry now is into d****
Game is woke, whether you want to accept it or not lols, aint nobody going to be gaslight about that fact.
also, these forced ideologies and twisting of characters/lore NEVER stops. If you want to make a game with DEI/Woke then do it, its just fine. But stop perverting already successful/established titles and rug pulling its fans with its ideologies cause we all know it would not sell otherwise if they where upfront with it from the start rather then hiding it. Its very disingenuous on their part.
We played as the very much straight Henry in the first game, and we expected him to remain so in the sequel. Even having the option feels like a radical and unprompted change in the character.
Years ago, we've had the lead dev be very loud and clear in his stance that medieval Bohemia few to no african people in order to defend the first game's lack of superficial "diversity", and now the sequel prominently features one. And that is not mentioning the content of that character's dialogue.
So now we're starting to wonder if that was all that was kept from us, what other nasty surprises could be waiting for us.
Don't get me wrong, minor woke elements are not a deal breaker to me, but those sudden reversals have led me (and who knows how many others) to stop regarding the game as something worth pre-purchasing or even getting on release and instead a adopt a "wait and see to get the full picture before considering buying" approach like all other big-name games these days.
Is BG3 woke? Is Mass Effect 2 woke? You can f##k a dude, if you want. There is no barves you have to pull, there is no cringe dialogue pushing this modern agenda.
So... Are THOSE games woke? I mean they specifically stated that you will be ostrasized by society and it will strongly affect your gameplay in a negative way, which is kinda realistic and immersive. I mean as long as the dialogue is not like in Veilguard, I am cool with it, when you have the option to tell the dude to go sk his own dk for example.
My point is, you should be concerned, but you shouldn't judge it before it came out.
what's harder to understand for them is the romance is optional
Ofc it will. I will see honest reviews. I will see how IGN tries to put it down and that would tell me everything I need to know.
Any comment, opinion, news etc. is speculation until the game is released.
nice bait
They have been howling at the moon screeching slurs and hate for the past few days, there is no factual or logical conclusion that will make them stop.
Maybe try it ..after they stop doing the hate.
It really doesn't matter if some woke lunatics try to slander this game to oblivion or raise false flags etc.
Because truth will come out and if this woke crap is lie then devs have no problem. People will buy the game like was the plan before this.
Well if it's true, rip bozos
Imma save up for other games, but I reserve judgment until after release, because it's not the "woke/dei" making games trash but the pandering tone and the inability to "behave badly" as a reaction, forcing you to be the good boy and accepting all that trash at face value.
I guess we will find out shortly :)
