Why does there need to be some “compromise”? Henry was 100% straight in the first game on record by Warhorse. Why do you need to change this? Why did Warhorse and Varva lie about the changes? Why can’t he just be straight how he always was?

I can't possibly click "no thanks dude" in dialogue. Are you insane? You made me gaaayy! Waaaaah. Vavra made me gay! I can't press Escape button ONCE to skip the gay scene I got into by choosing gay options for half the game. I can't! I am unable to skip it because Vavra made me gay and it's unskippable.

Somebody please ban this game in my amazingly tolerant country cos it's forcing me to change my sexuality!

Here's a cool funfact about RPGs: You can dynamically shape your character through the choices you make. E.g. You can choose whether your character is an honorable man, a thug, a merciless killer. How awesome is that, right?

Henry’s attraction to women is a well-established part of his character. the absence of any indication of attraction to men in the first game isn’t an open question, it’s a sign that his orientation was intended to be straightforward. adding a gay option doesn’t fill in a gap; it changes the character.

In the first game, Henry’s heterosexuality was shown through his actions and relationships (e.g., Bianca, Theresa, Lady Stephanie). By adding the possibility of gay romance, the sequel is redefining his character, not just giving players more freedom.
