I backed KCD on kickstarter back in the day
I backed KCD on kickstarter back in the day, it was the idea and the concept behind that game that pulled me to trust WH and invest on their project.
The 1st historical accurate medieval RPG game ever made, without any fantasy stuff.
I wanted so hard to avenge my parents, but the original game forced me to wait for the sequel to do that.
Now in 2025, many years later we are fighting for DEI which is not even a political thing here in my own country but we have been forced to accept foreign country politics which i don't care about (being politics) nor i don't want from the bottom of my heart in my videogames, because i don't want politics or social politics being forced to be in a game set in the middle europe in the year of our lord 1403.
I'm passionated about history and archeology and i live in a country which has over 5000 yrs of history.
I preordered the 79,99€ version of the game but i'm all to get a refund and skip this game, because i just Don't Want To Have Modern Politics On My Medieval Age Set RPG Game.
All of this Political Garbage should have a stop or the only genre which will remain enjoyable will be just Simulators and strategy games.
RPG or Action Adventure story driven games are not enjoyable anymore because there is the last fashion of putting modern politics themes inside them which should only be discussed in talk shows, news and the parliament.
Now this is the sequel of KCD maybe to complete Henry's history this time but what i find here is another Henry which probably became bisexual due to too many hit received on his head during the first game.
Let me say this is just ridiculous and we players should start to push on Steam to give us the possibility to ask for a refund even after 2 hrs of gameplay if we find contents offensive or not aligned with ourselfes such as modern politics tematics in our games.
Greetings.

I'm not seeing anything political there yet. So far certain people made it about politics because they really wanted to

He did get hit a lot on the head, that Henry. Yet Daniel of Mali tells us it's because he experienced something strong with another man. Sometimes men after many years of marriage leave their wives to become homosexuals. These are the teachings of Daniel of Mali who sets great store by learning.

Tbh, it still could be better in terms of arms and armour, there were a lot of misconceptions. So I expected them to address at least some of it in the next game, but they apparently decided to add wokeness instead of pursuing realism and authenticity.

And that's one of the reasons for my attitude. You can't claim to care about accuracy and realism and not address issues while adding woke stuff at the same time, you have to choose one thing, and their choice is pretty much obvious.

Thanks for the tip, appreciated.
I've called Amazon one week ago because they wrongly refunded an item i didn't return and gave 'em back the money.
I'm all for honesty both social and moral.

Jeff Bezos is the spawn of satan and Christ would chase him out the way he chased out the money lenders from the temple. Im genuinely glad if you found the tip helpful though.

Preorder is a scam

Yes. Show them we don't play those westoid clown games

The 2h refund window is for no questionts asked refund. It needs to be there because people abuse refunds. Steam can and did in past refund games with more played than that but its case by case basis and generally it needs to be known that the game has some problems and the first 2h were not enough for them to show.

Also politics were always there in video games, its when politics became more important than making good game is where ♥♥♥♥ started.

kickstarter is a scam
never trust game developers including so-called "indie" ones

Why not abuse? Where is LGBTQ+ tag? Why they omit that game have gay content? Maybe they should tell gamers that they can expect homosexual content and not hide it.
