Hans Confirmed Gay Love Interest
https://www.thegamer.com/kingdom-come-deliverance-2-hans-henry-queer-romance/

"At first, it feels like a sibling dynamic, a relationship defined by care and duty where the two are happy to spar and joke when danger isn’t afoot, but the second a threat emerges, it all changes. Henry becomes stronger and more cautious, while Hans' obnoxious persona will give way to one of spontaneous aggression. They are both layered characters, as we saw with Henry in the first game, but this time around there is something much deeper to it all. . .

. . . It felt as if Henry was harbouring hidden feelings that only bubbled up in a brief moment of peril, where failing to act would see Hans perish. We watch as the inverse happens too, and it’s obvious from the opening that Hans also deeply cares for Henry. They survive their encounter with the empire to fight another day, but are fundamentally changed in their outlook on life.

It changed how I viewed Henry as a character, now undeniably seeing him asqueer-coded. I mean, it’s an RPG, so there’s a solid chance you can not pursue romance with anybody, or it may be folded into the main narrative and act as a daring love story set in 15th century Europe."

Article from August. Don't recall any pushback from Warhorse/Vavra at the time, so I suppose the signs were always there.

I'm thinking its never been more over lads, definitely skip this one or take to the high seas.

Edit: Doubly confirmed by a leaker on RPG Codex

It just keeps getting worse, by the time this games comes out it'll be a story about Henry transitioning into a She/Her an fighting Nazi bigots.

if this is true, its really pretty gross. It completely ruins the bromance and turns it into something perverse.
Vavra will be missing a whole foot by the time the game comes out

Am I the only one that hated Hans in the first game and found him annoying as hell.
What the heck happened to the idea of platonic friendships - especially among men? Not everything is sexual; it's only revisionist claptrap that has sought to find it everywhere. e.g. David and Jonathan from the Old Testament. Henry and Hans are pals and mismatched at that coming from different social backgrounds - Hans is spoiled twit that only at the end of KCD finally seems to be taking some responsibility at least.

Because best friends are gay when they don't want each other to die.
Based, bounce on the homies.

Both characters were unambigiously straight in the first game. When straight men face hell together they are forged into brothers. They don't experience sexual tension.

I don't think it's gross because there are gays in the game. I don't think most gay people are gross. I think it's gross because it's a major bait and switch. You think you're getting a story about growing bonds of brotherhood and you end up with some bad parody from the hub.

I don't really care if there is an option to be gay with some random side character. Decline the option once and never see it again. At least I hope they wouldn't keep shoving it in your face. I refunded the game until more details come out.

I don't see anyway that it could be Hans and I would be willing to give them my money.

This is fake news. This is the author’s odd suggestion of what might be in the game, not what is actually in the game.

Someone with a review copy already conformed that Hans and Henry are not lovers
Recycled fake news. LGBTQ Access media journo that gave Veilguard a 4/5. Try harder.
hold your horses, it's still not confirmed. the article is full of headcanons. the gay romance character is hinted to be a villain not Hans
"Deep down I am not sure Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is moving in this direction, but god I hope it does."
