At no point the main story had romance in it, or any choice relating to it.
exactly this. the game never forced you to romance anyone, so everyone saying '' oh henry was a womanizer!! " that was *their* henry. mine was just some goober who wanted to throw hands with the world ( and lost a lot. )
'' In Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you can romance both Lady Stephanie and Theresa. To unlock romance options, you need to complete specific side quests and engage in romantic relationships with both characters. ''
Note the term; side quests, options, and specific.
that doesn't really change the fact romance is optional, does it?
doesn't really change the fact romance in KCD1 ( and 2 ) is optional btw though does it
yeah custom character would go hard but then people would cry about letting us have the option to play as a female in medieval ages.
can't please everyone ig.
Some games do restrict.
Meaning you could have had male only, but make him what you wanted within said limitations.
Albeit it could have been interesting to see how stories would differ, had you picked one sex over the other.. but that would have needed a huge effort and work.. so I understand why they did not choose this route.
