🤠RDR 2 influence on KCD2āš”ļø! ā€œGang campā€ equivalent sounds cool
One of my favorite aspects of RDR 2 (my favorite game of all time) is the gang camp. The social aspect really draws you into the characters and the world.

See this portion of the following interview of Vavra (or whatever his name is) starting at 10:20 (the link takes you directly there to a section labeled ā€œRDR 2 Influenceā€):

I’m really excited to hear about this! So will there be a camp or home base or whatever? It actually might have mentioned, I only watched it once and was excited to share it so I will watch it again. But if anyone knows more details or otherwise has comments or opinions on this feature please share!šŸ˜€

Edit: so I watched that section again, it’s not clear from that bit if this means there will be a central location or base for Henry’s band of compatriots. He also likened it to the team aspect of Oceans 11 and Inglorious Bastards. I particularly liked that last one.

I hope Henry and Musa will be able to help strong women protest for voting rights like Arthur did in RDR2
It's more brokeback mountain than RDR2 from what I've heard.

Yes I’m sure that’ll be very effective under feudalism. Anyway that doesn’t have anything to do with the topic.

Please don’t bring silly culture war nonsense into my discussion. There are plenty of active discussions talking about that. Can we not have a few discussions for people who just want to play the game?

You can.
On Reddit.

I have also noticed RDR2 influences and honestly that makes it so much better.
Now I can't comment on the camp stuff but there was a bit of this feeling in the first game with the Bands of Bastards DLC - where you have multiple ways of having fun around with the band in their camp between missions. Can't wait for more
Ive never played RDR2, but I really like this idea of a home camp we can go to and do missions with our companions there. I also really like the idea of us having to convince them to also join our camp too.

Yah it sounds cool for sure. I have not played the DLC in KCD 1 yet but from what my friend tells me it becomes available after liberating presbylitz (I know that’s a terrible butchering of the name) so I may have a chance to see a little of it before release of the sequel.

Yah it’s an excellent idea. And someday I strongly recommend you play RDR 2!šŸ™‚
