I AM DONE WITH THIS
To Whom It May Concern at Warhorse Studios,

I am writing this letter in utter frustration and disbelief regarding the direction you've taken with Kingdom Come: Deliverance and the now seemingly impending Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. It's incredibly disheartening to see what started as a promising, innovative title slowly devolve into an experience riddled with missed opportunities, frustrating design choices, and a lack of meaningful progression.

First, let's talk about the issues in the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance. While I initially had high hopes for the game, what I ended up experiencing was a buggy, unfinished mess. The quest design was often disjointed, the combat system—despite its initial promise—was clunky and far from intuitive, and the world, while stunning, felt hollow in places. The game promised a realistic medieval experience, but it too often failed to live up to that claim, with outdated mechanics and unforgiving systems that seemed designed to punish players rather than immerse them in the world.

Now, we have Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on the horizon, and it’s hard to see how anything will change. From what I’ve seen so far, there’s little indication that you’re addressing the serious flaws of the first game. Instead, it feels like you're doubling down on the same broken elements that were never properly fixed or improved. Why should I, as a loyal fan, trust that this sequel won’t just be a repeat of the same disappointments? Why are we still stuck with a combat system that needs a complete overhaul, yet it’s still being touted as a core feature?

It’s incredibly frustrating to watch Warhorse miss the mark time and time again, when a bit of polish and attention to player feedback could have made Kingdom Come: Deliverance a truly great game. But instead, we’re left with a series of half-baked ideas and outdated mechanics, and the sequel promises more of the same.

You’ve had the time to fix the issues. You’ve had the feedback from players. Yet you continue to ignore what truly matters—the gameplay experience. I truly hope that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 doesn’t end up as yet another example of squandered potential. If you’re serious about creating a worthwhile sequel, you need to show some genuine effort in addressing the flaws of the original. And that starts by listening to the fans who’ve stuck with you through thick and thin.

In short, I’m fed up. Fix the game, or just stop pretending like you're improving anything.

Sincerely,
Eu4 Methaddicted Gooner

LoL.. if only.. mommy had the funds to award you ... 🤡...
They are right about combat tho. It is objectively bad, and has all the same problems as the 1st game. They should have addressed the complaints.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is an exercise in frustration. It is beautiful and the story is fantastic, but the ridiculous save system, the unnecessarily difficult combat and the lack of choice in the game difficulty setting has made me quit playing. If you have endless hours to spare, knock yourself out but I'm done! What a wasted opportunity by the developers.

First game has no flaws design wise and not addressing some of these "modern gamer" complaints is one of the good things they did in KCD2.
Not bad as far as a joke-post. This is a joke people, i know reading isn't considered cool, but it's a joke.
go play something else ?
The sales tanked pretty quick (you heard about all the early sales milestones- nothing since), it'll eventually be pretty cheap. It's probably quite good but since I'm not a huge fan of the devs I'll do what I did for KC1 and wait until it's 5 bucks. That way I can play it and also not reward the devs. Everyone wins!
