I am a fan of the first part, I advertised the studio's new game wherever I could. It is impossible to buy the game from us, but about thirty people have created accounts to buy the game.

But most of them bought the game not to support the developers, but to vote against the woke movement in games.

After the whole story with the black character and Henry bi sekual started, I waited for statements from the developers and I received them.

Yesterday I talked about the situation with the game, and out of more than thirty people, only two said they would buy the game right away. Ten people said they would never buy the game, and the rest would either play the pirated version or wait for big discounts.

I believe that a similar situation is happening all over the world. Due to two minor episodes, the game will actually lose millions of players. developers won't get a lot of profit.

But I still think that the first and second parts have no analogues in the world. I believe that the game will still be successful. I think these two minor episodes have almost no effect on the game. But I also think that the studio has lost millions of sales in a bunch of countries. I definitely won't buy the game at the very beginning, and probably won't buy it at all. I don't want to support even such small changes in the game, because we all see what small changes lead to in the end using the example of Dragon Age.

Even Oingo Boingo lost pretty much their entire audience and gained an equal amount of a new audience when they stopped with the political angst. (Interview with Danny Elfman.) They were called sellouts, but they lost nothing with the change.

Let's face it. They're targeting a different audience that we were, and it seems to be working out just fine for them. Oh well. Even the doctor on the forum can't explain the changes, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the numbers negatively.

I don't agree they are targetting a different audience. People who loved the first are still excited about this one. And from what I've seen it's the same as the first game, just better. The things I'm seeing people complain about is so minor in terms of the game as a whole. What should be most important is if it's a good game, gameplay, mechanics etc. And that definitely seems to be the case. After that you can start caring about other stuff, but it still isn't the most important

I am requesting a refund for my pre-order purchase of KCDII. The change of lifestyle to MC, whether by player option, or not, is not one that coincides with the previous game, KCD, of which I love and have well-over 1400 hours of playtime. I feel the deceptive manner in which Developer kept this crucial and important game-theme factor from fans is repulsive and a flagrant mistrust. I wish KCDII all the best, but I do not want to be a part of it. Thank you for considering my refund.

Man, I'll accept they sold out and even lied but people actually don't realise the vast, overwhelming near total absolute majority of people will NEVER hear about all this "Drama"?

Quite literally the ONLY thing this rage crap will make happen is people will buy, start, quit, refund after leaving a review and when those reviews don't show (Because why should they?) they'll be back here to claim they're being censored. Despite this being the case there will also be the defenders who'll buy, start, idle in title screen then leave an amazing review like it's the best game ever and since they won't refund it their reviews will stay and the score will be artificially ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for months.

I honestly think it'll still be a good game but DA:V had this happen with it's score slowly going down only after awhile and I 100% assure everyone it'll happen here too.

It is not true. I am not calling for a boycott of the game, I have said and say that the game simply has no analogues, I have no doubt that the game will be successful.

I advertised and encouraged all my friends to buy the second part, despite the fact that the publisher forbade not only selling but also giving the game to players from my region. But at the same time, I feel responsible for my recommendations.

unlike the nameless hero that we are creating ourselves, Henry has already lived in the world of the game, he has his own story and his own opinion. I spent hundreds of hours with him and associated myself with him when playing. he never gave any reason to think that he was bi. the developers also said that.
