Why Warhorse has lost millions of potential players.

I am a fan of the first part, I advertised the studio's new game wherever I could. It is impossible to buy the game from us, but about thirty people have created accounts to buy the game.

But most of them bought the game not to support the developers, but to vote against the woke movement in games.

After the whole story with the black character and Henry bi sekual started, I waited for statements from the developers and I received them.

Yesterday I talked about the situation with the game, and out of more than thirty people, only two said they would buy the game right away. Ten people said they would never buy the game, and the rest would either play the pirated version or wait for big discounts.

I believe that a similar situation is happening all over the world. Due to two minor episodes, the game will actually lose millions of players. developers won't get a lot of profit.

But I still think that the first and second parts have no analogues in the world. I believe that the game will still be successful. I think these two minor episodes have almost no effect on the game. But I also think that the studio has lost millions of sales in a bunch of countries. I definitely won't buy the game at the very beginning, and probably won't buy it at all. I don't want to support even such small changes in the game, because we all see what small changes lead to in the end using the example of Dragon Age.

This, is why they're angry. They don't give sh*t about KCD or KCD2, they only care about which studieos and games they think align with their politics..

They only bought KCD because "poiitics" ... Now that the devs have made it known they're only interested in making a good game, and not politics, they get angry.

You're wrong. Less than a third of the people I know did this. but this alone shows that society has a huge demand for games without woke. The rest were interested in the game, but did not buy the game immediately or buy game at all.

I also want to say that adherents of woke culture don't care about this game or games in general. This was clearly demonstrated by the games that failed because of woke last year.

People are angry because, time after time, woke culture destroys game universes and changes what has already been done and established. Woke ideology does not know how to create, it only knows how to destroy and take away. Because of this, in an effort to protect their beloved universe from disfigurement, people begin to protest against the changes.

For some reason, your diversity only works one way. Not a single black man became white, not a single gay man became straight. No weak man has become strong, no strong woman has become weak.
Everything happens only on the turn.

And once again, I want to say that the developers have lost millions of potential sales. Yes, those people would have been more interested in voting against woke culture rather than playing the game, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a huge amount of money that the developers missed. They also reduced their credibility to a minimum.

But once again, I think this game will be good. I think it will be interesting to play it. It's just that a lot fewer people will get into it than they could due to two minor episodes. I hope it was worth it for them.

I'm just not willing to part with my money anymore when devs are being deceptive this has been like a standard practice for a long time. I'd like to get what I expected from my money and what they have advertised.

Cant even trust early access reviews. So i'll wait for actual gameplay footages and all that

Not even a woke issue anymore just the publisher/devs being deceptive and lying has been a standard practice in awhile

Wait for the 2nd wave of reviews, the 1st set are always bought and paid for doesn't matter if its from a youtuber or a streamer or a journo its all the same. The 2nd set comes from people who bought the game with their own money and they don't have any incentive to lie about the game being better than it actually is. Remember Dragon Age Veilguard? remember how many 9-10/10's it got from the 1st review wave that were all bought and paid for including the youtubers etc? Then a few days later the REAL reviews came out from people who got the game themselves and have no incentive to lie about it, game couldn't even hit 4 out of 10 on metacritic on the user score. Those are the real reviews.

Its the same situation here, ignore all the 1st reviews as they will all be kissing the devs arse and will be prob nothing but positive about it. See if that carries into the 2nd wave or not. Me? I'd not buy this game on principal as they pulled a bait and switch, as well as were really shady about it and biliantly tried to keep it hidden as long as they could. That destroyed any trust I had in them, and I am not the only one. Its not so much the gay romance which should not have been in games period, its the way they went about it and how shady they were about it and trying to keep it hidden till after the game came out and they got peoples money. THATS what I am more annoyed about. As thats not a good look, that tells you that you cannot trust anything the studio says anymore. I hope they DEI money they got was worth destroying your studio's reputation because this is going to hurt any future game they make. They are now tainted by the woke mind parasite and once tainted you can never get rid of that taint. People will second guess everything they do now.
