Anyway in answer to your question the answer is no. From what I've heard the intro will basically tell you the story of the first one and I believe it will even ask you questions about what you did in the first game to help develop your Henry. For those who haven't played or played the parts in question you will be able to answer those questions based on how you want to develop your Henry for KCD 2.
That said it sounds like KCD 2 is a refinement of many of the ideas of KCD 1 so my advice would be to start back in KCD 1 and get back into the swing of things. For me after not playing fort two years, the game was certainly more difficult to get back into then it was to learn initially (as it is so big and detailed) so if you do decide to play some more KCD 1 now you may want to just start from the beginning.
